Kosta Ramirez serves as the PGA Director of Instruction at The Mines Golf Club and leads the Kosta Ramirez Golf Academy. A member of the PGA of America since 2015, Kosta has worked at some of the country’s premier golf facilities, including Kent Country Club, Oakland Hills Country Club, and Bloomfield Hills Country Club. He is also the assistant coach and swing coach for the Ferris State University men's and women's golf teams, where he helps collegiate athletes refine their skills and compete at a high level.

Kosta actively competes in Michigan and national PGA events and brings his tournament experience into every coaching session.

A proud First Tee instructor and former First Tee participant, Kosta understands firsthand the impact that mentorship and opportunity through golf can provide. That early support helped launch his career, and today, he remains committed to giving back—especially by inspiring and guiding the next generation of players.

He is TPI-certified, focusing on building efficient and effective swings based on each player’s physical capabilities. With additional certifications in TrackMan and club fitting, Kosta offers a complete, individualized coaching experience that blends data, equipment knowledge, and physical awareness.

Kosta was awarded 2026-2027 Best Teacher in Michigan by Golf Digest.
